Mando Mafia at Clifftop 2000
Mando Mafia was a featured performing group this year at the Appalachian
String Band Music Festival in Clifftop, West Virginia, owing
to their first place win in the Nontraditional Band contest in 1999.

Here, the band is pictured doing an impromptu
performance near the main drag of the festival grounds.

Later, the rain drove them inside the pavillion where they encountered
a group of young musicians playing, incredibly, "All
Along the Watchtower," which is on Mando Mafia's latest
CD, "Get Up In The Cool."
The band joined in, and the wall of mandos played against
a wall of guitars. |
